I was just a few months overdue for my current semester’s academic fees, the stupid Academic and Regulations Office (ARO) needn’t block my student account, access to library and computer centres. I had an online assignment which I was suppose to complete before 30-11-07, but I couldn’t because they blocked my account! So technically, they failed me because AROs wasn’t quick enough to re-open my account the day after I paid the overdue fees. Not only do I have a FAIL on my report, the stupid course deducts 0.23 points out of my GPA.
Re-openning my account on a Saturday? RIGHT AFTER THE DEADLINE?! Woah, that’s SO convenient. I mean I should just finish that friggin’ assignment as if nothing happened and risk deducting my GPA. I will report this to the Counsel. Seriously, what kind of office works in such a slow pace? Don’t they know students survive on the intranet system to gain access to important information?
I am angry with AROS and myself. Should I say I’m getting luckier because I have lots of job opportunities or should I say my luck ran out because bad things related to school keep coming up??
CM: It has nothing to do with luck… You should have handed the fees on time.
Me: You aren’t helping me. You’re suppose to help make this situation better by providing support such as “I’ll help you with your Chinese essay”.
CM: Fine, I’ll help you with your Chinese essay.
Me: I didn’t force you. You said it yourself. Mmmm….thank you!~~ *hug* =)
