One week left before semester starts and I’m so excited! I can still remember the first day I went to my classes in my university… I didn’t know a lot of people on the first day, but by the end of the week I was nominated to be the class representative with Ball Tse. I wouldn’t say that was my first achievement since arriving CityU, because meeting all those great people were. And now, another year comes along, another semester to look forward to….
Class representatives are going to be re-elected on the second-year, Christopher (programme head) said so. Betty sounds eager to get the class to re-elect me again, since she sees me as her ideal student. I can tell she’s doing her best to give me opportunities and to put me in front of people, all I need to do is improvise and prove to her that she’s not making the wrong choice. Being the teacher’s pet can be challenging, but it’s all worthwhile when you look back and see how much you’ve been through. Compare to whom I was 6 years ago, I think I’ve changed and created a few decent pages on my personal profile.

Got my statement from bank today. It says I spent $1030.90 and I need to pay them back in two weeks time. Hmmm… that’s the problem, I won’t be able to pay them back unless I get my salary from work. But the financial offices of CityU won’t issue me my salary until I give them my bank account number, which I can’t because my account was closed when I neglected it for two whole years. And the offices can’t give me cheques because they just don’t.
This means I have to pay bills with my allowance, I have $497.00 now. And hopefully my dad will give me another $500 next week with excuse that I used the money for books, stationary and contact lens for school. Yes, the latter point is crucial that i have them before school starts because I refuse to go out with my glasses unless I’m really really REALLY tired or just stepped out from a flight.
And about that bank account issue, I heard from Kin and Christine cityU’s doing promotion in alliance with Heng Seng Bank. You get to have a bank account and free credit card within promotion period. I shall open one next week when semester start so i have b/a to get paycheck.
Mmm thinking IS a lot easier without panic! =)

I’ve filled in all my credit hours, except I’ve a course which may drag some of my GPA down: Financial management. All my friends from finance dept. said that the principles aren’t hard, it’s just that the exams aren’t easy at all. People usually suck at exams, they reported. F*** I will not let this drag my grade!!!! Grrrrrr….
This semester is going to be tough. C&A, D&A, Bio Psych are all challenging and filled with work load. I think I should get head start in reading the materials they have from library…
