It just came to my mind that tomorrow is my brother’s birthday when I typed in the date for today’s entry. What can I get for that lil’ rascal? Getting presents for guys have always been a problem for me because (a.) not many are into books, (b.) either they expect gadgets and cool things or nothing, (c.) gadgets costs. With girls, it’s always easier, for example on Xenia’s bday I got her a mug that changes color when different temp. liquid pours in. Me and Erica were amazed and kept asking the salesperson to “do that trick again!!!” =_=” For Bobo’s present: Caleb, Tony, Ching Yuen and I tipped in and got her a camera. I don’t even know what model it is but when she opened it was IXUS sth.. black sleek digital camera. That’s good enough. My brother… what did I get him last year? A signature pen from Mont Blanc. Buy two get one at cheaper price because of some VIP thing, so I got one for dad earlier that year… I suck at giving gifts… Good thing is I know how to make people happy when they are feeling moody – most people, I mean.
Since the activation of my really cool credit card, I can go online shopping~! The joy of shopping online within the comfort of your home is just the best thing closest to sex. Really, you search for what pleasures you most, with a few clicks you have it ordered. The thrill of waiting for the delivery of the wholesome package, and most of all tearing out the wrappings, ruthlessly because you can’t wait any longer, to reveal that sexy present you bought for yourself. Mmmmm….
Of course, that’s just an exaggeration. When you are online shopping for a textbook that’s too expensive in HK but eminent to own in preparation of exams, waiting for the book to arrive can be dreadful. And what’s the joy of shopping if you are forced to get sth?
Now, how do I get this online banking thing work????…. I hate banks, not because of that girl and Paul, it’s because of their inefficient way of dealing with customers’ hum-dee-dum problems. I have to wait 15 mins just to ask a question which can be answered in less than 3 mins. This is 8 in the morning!! Sheeesh…….

Watching my mom leave home, I have this weird feeling… She went out to meet her friends with my top, my shorts, my hair-band I don’t use anymore, and my trainers. Don’t know what to say. I need to go shopping with her, either for me or her. She needs more casual clothes…. Watching her go, it feels like I’m watching some daughter go off….
I wonder if I’ll be that annoying when I have kids of my own: wear their clothes and run off to meet friends pretending to be a teenager. Weird things happen at my place.

Pampering myself once in awhile is nice. That’s why I shopped this morning, had manicure and pedicure this morning, and had facial this afternoon. Right now, I’m watching my favorite show, having more chocolate and thinking of Paul. Hmmm… But won’t message him today because don’t want to bother people. Today’ll be me-time. =)
